Abstract

This study analyzes administrative management and its impact on the job performance of the workers at Cantera Rigot S.A., located in the city of Guayaquil. The research is based on the premise that efficient management directly influences productivity, motivation, and job satisfaction, which are key factors for the company's growth and sustainability.To achieve this, a detailed analysis of administrative processes was conducted, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in the organizational structure and decision-making process. A mixed-method approach was applied, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques, using surveys and interviews with both operational and administrative staff.The results revealed that internal communication, task distribution, and continuous training are essential aspects that influence employee performance and commitment. Additionally, deficiencies in human talent management were identified, particularly in motivation, incentive allocation, and performance recognition, which negatively impact the operational efficiency of the quarry.Based on the findings, the study proposes the implementation of improvement strategies in administrative management, such as process optimization, staff training, and the adoption of a more structured performance evaluation system. These actions will enhance productivity and workplace quality, fostering a more dynamic and efficient organizational environment.The relevance of this study lies in the need to strengthen business management in the extraction and production sector of construction materials, ensuring optimal working conditions that allow for a balance between employee well-being and business growth
