Economic growth, full employment and decent work in the DEVASH project

This research aims to verify the application of SDG 8 in artisanal projects. The research problem examines the impact of compliance with Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) in the DEVASH project, which is dedicated to the artisanal production of mead. The study is descriptive in nature and was carried out through the application of a 24-item questionnaire aligned with the targets of SDG 8, evaluated using a five-level BARS scale. The methodology was structured in three phases: alignment with SDG targets, data collection, and economic and social impact analysis. The results show that DEVASH demonstrated strengths in productivity, entrepreneurship, and job creation, supported by solid planning oriented toward sustainable economic growth. Areas of opportunity were also identified in the environmental management of the production process. The study concludes that DEVASH effectively integrates economic growth, full employment, and decent work, establishing itself as a replicable model of sustainable entrepreneurship aligned with the principles of sustainable development.
